500gm. 🍝 Bucatini - our favourite pasta pick! It’s wonderfully thick and al dente, with that hole running through the center, it’s one of our family’s favourite styles of pasta... It's an ideal pasta to toss with a simple garlic butter (obviously recommend our Really Garlicky butter 😉) and maybe some prawns or we have also tried it with a creamy Forbes Croft mustard & Kintyre Mushrooms sauce and grilled chicken supreme on top!
The Bucatini (also called Perciatelli) originated in Naples and are elongated with a round section and are perforated internally.Ideal with.. Bucatini all’Amatriciana, with tomato sauce, bacon and a sprinkling of pecorino romano cheese. This rather versatile format is also excellent with butter, meat or fish sauces. Bucatini are also perfect with vegetable sauces, prepared with tomato sauce, peppers, aubergines, courgettes, olives and capers. Cooking: 11 min – Al dente: 9 min
